There is no mistaking the beauty of paddling the coastline of Awaba Bay Reserve. Starting from the northern end of Lake Macquarie our paddlers make their way past the Art gallery and the business area of Marmong Point marine precinct to the start of the reserve. Awaba Bay is quiet, secluded and a great place for swimming in summer when participating in the half day tour. An early morning paddler is almost always rewarded with effortless gliding across the surface when the Lake is at its calmest and most tranquil state of the day.
